Link to form that needs to be filled out within 48 hours of flight to Israel

Accordingly, the FINAL criteria For entering Israel are as follows - you must meet ONE of these conditions in order to enter Israel:

2. Recovered within 180 days of the trip with DIGITAL proof of a positive PCR result and more than 11 days have passed since the positive result. This type of proof only exists in the EU. The UK will likely have it as well.

3. Recovered anytime – even more than 180 days before the trip - with DIGITAL proof of positive PCR result AND vaccinated with at least one dose within 180 days of the trip. Again at the moment the digital proof only exists in the EU and possibly the UK shortly.

So my mother who is an Israeli Citizen but lives in the USA travelled to Israel.    She's vaccinated 3 times and we uploaded all of that on the entry form.

She got a Green Pass thru 2/28/22, but when she landed, got an email saying she had to go into bidud for 14 days (instead of the earlier of 24 hours or negative PCR).

Any thoughts how to fix this besides calling *5400 since she can't get thru
try emailing משרד הבריאות – בידוד

There have been similar reports. Many claim it's a mistake.

I'm sorry, but I flew two weeks ago and they asked me for my vaccination papers by passport control.
What passport control?

Right before luggage
So in my last two trips, it was a DIY machine for passport control near the gate. In May they then checked your paperwork, last week the machine gave you the blue entry ticket and you proceeded to baggage. No significant human interaction until the covid test.

The big line up for passports is gone. Hopefully permanently.

I think that what they are talking about discontinuing is the test prior to flying, for Israeli citizens. Still will test upon arrival. Logic being, let them be stuck in quarantine at home, instead of overseas.

But what's the resolution?   The email is just wrong or the gov't has it recorded wrong.    Less of an issue on a day to day basis, but she is coming back to the US before the 14 days are up so could be problematic on exit if they have her marked as "quarrantined"

I travel on a US passport
I traveled with my brother who carries an Israeli passport. They let him go and sent me to the other line to have my documents checked.

I was there in November and, while almost everyone was able to use the machine, I was not.

I have a new US passport.

Any idea why the machine wouldn't work by me?

I had that in May, and they had someone right there who processed manually. Couldn't or wouldn't give me a reason. But no problem when I went last week

Finally seems like they will allow kids without vaccinations in

Does someone with a stopover get docs checked at origination, stopover, or both? Does this mean that more time is needed between flights?

Looking to possibly book a separate itinerary from Europe to TLV. How does that affect things?

I just came back from Israel and did not need to show my vaccine card there even once. The only time I needed it was to upload to receive green pass and again for the airline before boarding in the U.S when I checked my bags.
In general, they are also definitely getting less strict overall in Israel in terms of enforcing mask rules.
