Accordingly, the FINAL criteria For entering Israel are as follows - you must meet ONE of these conditions in order to enter Israel:

1. Vaccinated within 180 days of the trip with either a second vaccine or a booster and it must be at least 14 days after the shot.

2. Recovered within 180 days of the trip with DIGITAL proof of a positive PCR result and more than 11 days have passed since the positive result. This type of proof only exists in the EU. The UK will likely have it as well.

3. Recovered anytime – even more than 180 days before the trip - with DIGITAL proof of positive PCR result AND vaccinated with at least one dose within 180 days of the trip. Again at the moment the digital proof only exists in the EU and possibly the UK shortly.

Your vaccination or recovery CANNOT expire while in Israel, which means you may not be in Israel more than 180 days after your vaccine or recovery have expired.

CONSEQUENCES FOR VIOLATING THE TERMS OF ENTRY: VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE ABOVE CRITERIA CAN MEAN SANCTIONS INCLUDING BARRING YOUR ENTRY TO ISRAEL FOR 5 YEARS.

Anyone have any experience flying out of TLV to USA as a recovered patient in Israel?
The CDC website says anyone who tested positive within the last 3 months can present the positive test as well as a doctor's note stating they are now good to fly.
Trying to gather whether this has been done before and exactly which documents from Israeli healthcare are needed to show that.
Thanks!

Happened to me... you'll need a copy of the positive PCR result and a recovery letter from Bikur Rofeh.  No need for any testing if you have those docs and you're within 90 days.  That was the case in Nov/Dec 2021.  Don't know if things have changed since.

my blue paper said a2 on it when i entered even though i did not have a visa it might be cuz i entered with a student entry permit?
A1 is a temporary resident
A2 is a student visa.
A4 is a visa for a dependent of someone with a A2
B1 is a work visa (though you can get right to work on a A2 or A4)
B2 is a tourist visa

If your blue paper says A2 you have a student visa.
The only difference between a good day and a bad day is your attitude(:

Not sure I'm in the right place but hopefully someone can direct me if so.
Looking to fly into Israel for a quick weekend with an 8 month old (obviously unvaccinated baby). Is that possible or will he have to quarantine?

The quarantine is fake news. If you’re super cautious type of person, you’re out of quarantine after 24h either way

They don’t check up on you in the first 24 hours. If you come back positive, maybe it’s a different story..

Can anyone please tell me where in can turn my Israeli green pass (received in Meuchedet) into something that is valid for travel around the United States? It expires today, and I'm traveling to NY & Atlanta in 3 weeks.

Wow! YWN is early. Usually an anouncement like this would come out march 15th or something.

A welcome adjustment. The current US trajectory points towards booster requirements every six months for fetuses from point of conception….

just got back. Didn't seem to be any reason for it. Re-entering the US was more difficult than entering Israel.
