I flew Motzei Shabbos of President's Day weekend on a night with multiple incoming flights. I got tested at TLV around 5 PM on Sunday and had my results by SMS by 2 AM.
Same here.

Are people expecting increased wait times for COVID results starting tomorrow? I wanted to arrive on a flight 4am next Friday morning. My fear is not getting my results before shabbos.

Quarantine is until the results come back or 24 hours, whichever is earlier. So if the results don't come back before shabbos, then you may exit quarantine 4am shabbos.

Anyone been asked for proof of negative test when returning from Israel? Got tested Friday for a Motzei Shabbos flight. Not a single person asked to see it, whether at TLV or JFK.
I was asked for it by the check in agent at TLV, Last week Wednesday.

From 8.3.2022 - a health insurance with coverage for the treatment of COVID is required.
This Insurance is a condition to enter Israel.

With respect to this requirement on https://corona.health.gov.il/en/abroad/arriving-by-air/:

"Take a PCR test in the 72 hours before the flight to Israel or a rapid (antigen) test at an authorized site in the 24 hours before the flight, administered by professional samplers (not a home test). You are required to present an official document in English attesting to the negative result and specifying your passport number. Tests of any other type will not be accepted."

Where can one get a PCR test that will produce a passport number in the result? Will any regular PCR test (e.g. CVS) work, or does one specifically need to go to an agency that specializes in testing for travel?

Thanks.

I flew with a PCR that did not have my passport number. The desk agent at Delta when I checked in at JFK was the only one who asked for it and did not seem to mind that my passport number was not on it.

I have not seen that enforced from the US. Most US PCRs I have seen don't have passport number.

mostly unenforced, but i have had recent customers who were refused boarding until they "produced" results with passport numbers

Friend was denied boarding this week from TLV to NY because his PCR test taken in IL was around 28 hrs before his flight, and they wont accept more than 24 hrs.  know that the rule has been this way for a while, but usually it wasnt strictly enforced.

Some countries say 24 hours, but the US specifically says the day before. People that have after midnights flights on a motzei shabbos have a tricky situation. Because in reality you can’t get tested until motzei shabbos.

Rapid antigen works fine.

On Sunday, I am flying with United; I require a PCR test within 72 hours of flight. Most of my local Brooklyn testing centers cannot meet this requirement.

United allows you to pay for a RT-PCR Test that will give me a result within four hours. But they make you check a box confirming that "I have verified that RT-PCR TEST is accepted by the destination to which I will be traveling. This test is performed using the ThermoFisher Accula SARS-CoV-2 testing platform."

Does anybody have a source that Israel accepts these RP-PCR tests? Any advice?
