Yes. In Lakewood it is rare for someone to prevent a person from wearing a mask. I know a few people who wore masks in Willi and were asked if they were preparing for purim.

I fully respect anyone that wears a mask, but I question those that do it part-time. Case-in-point, I was at a siyum Sefer Torah yesterday, where one of the family members was going around masked most of the time (he's from OOT), yet for a certain period he removed his mask (while still being in the same crowded indoor room). I didn't ask him (though I would if I would have a private moment with him) - ממה נפשך?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Does everyone always drive with a seat belt? Does everyone always boat with a life jacket? It’s a safety precaution and some usage is better than no usage.

That's called preventing?

(Not that I agree with the approach at all. I would just answer yes. We prepare for Pesach more than a month before. )

אינו דומה כלל וכלל.

We're talking about being in the exact same (presumably hazardous) situation.

Actually the risk changes with the amount of time exposed. 15 minutes masksless is more than 3x riskier than 5 minutes maskless, because there is likely a minimum viral load threshold.

Have family members from Israel that need to come in 2 weeks for their childs wedding in the US. Wonder if that would qualify as an exemption.

Based on the exceptions on the form you would have to argue that it's a kind of a funeral (I'm sure you're familiar with the joke about why a chupa has 4 poles), or a legal proceeding.

Mentions legal challenges with closing land borders, though seems to be talking about entry rather than exit.

It's too early to know, although I'd guess parents of Chosen & Kallah will make it out. Are they Israeli citizens? That appears to allow them in already.

So where does one draw the line? How does one decide how much is "too much"?

You try to do as much as you can. There is no too much until it comes at the cost of something more important. And don't tell me the discomfort of wearing a mask is a cost, at least 1,000,000,000 humans wear one every day. You aren't that different.

Where do I come into the equation? I am questioning those that are inconsistent.

I’m guessing foreign citizens will be allowed to leave without a special exemption

The English website, unlike the Hebrew version, explicitly says you don’t need prior approval to fly out of Israel ‘to the return to the country of origin’.
