Sorry not London. Just US, Germany, France and Ukraine

There have been conflicting reports on LHR.

Any corrections?

Quote
Israelis with Green Passports, which are issued to those who have been vaccinated, recovered from COVID, or have COVID antibodies, will be able to enter and leave the country without needing any special permission. They will have to take a COVID test before their flight and upon landing in Ben Gurion, but they will not have to quarantine.

Israelis without Green Passports will still need special permission to enter or leave the country. They will have to take a COVID test before their flight and upon landing in Ben Gurion, and they will have to quarantine. They can choose between a hotel quarantine or a home quarantine with a monitoring bracelet that will require a 1,500NIS deposit.

A. I don't think there is any distinction for entry permission between Israelis with green passport and without. The idea is everybody has to be allowed in to vote. (Supreme Court hearing cases on March 4)

B. The hotel quarantine mandate is supposed to  end, it will be home quarantine with more enforcement or voluntary hotels. You're probably right that it will require people to take the bracelet instead of the hotel though.

So she sits with Bibi for 4 hours, they agree on 3000
I don't think she sat with Bibbi at the subcommittee.

There is talk the government specifically wants to set the limit low so they can blame the SC for breaching the borders when they rescind it

You need to take the test to a doctor in the kupah and have him register you as a machlim
If you are not a member of a kupah - @ExGingi do you have any info how to do this?

I wasn't able to find out if/how I can get a תעודת מחלים. I got my bidud cancelled once I provided an Israeli antibody test. Presumably it's in their national database. IDK. I hope not to need it again in the near future.

ETA: looks like it's not possible yet. They are trying to add the capability.

A. So those without a green passport only need permission to fly out? Or don't need permission at all?
Only to fly out. Supposedly no more committee for Israelis to fly in (granted, that was the plan when it was 3000/day, may change now that it's 1000/day), and unclear who can approve foreigners, as I predicted two weeks ago

I'm guessing as March 6 gets closer, it will be difficult to know who has authority to approve entrance for foreigners. The Foreign Ministry handled that previously via the consulates and the power was transferred to a series of committees which ended up at the Transportation Ministry, but that was only authorized until March 6 while Israeli citizens need a permit to enter.

AFAICT, nobody has the authority to approve entrance post March 6, which of course won't stop them from issuing papers the airlines may or may no decide to accept.

B. Several articles say hotel or bracelet at home.
Correct, it's more a question of terminology. It seems the hotel mandate will be lifted and there will be a new mandate for bracelets and a voluntary hotel option without bracelets.

It's mostly semantics, but there is a possibility the hotel mandate will be lifted before there are enough bracelets to mandate - the government planing is focused on dramatically increasing enforcement visits which suggests they are lifting the hotel mandate before bracelets are ready.

You can't make this stuff up.

It was inevitable, but the follow up is unbelievable.

Elal zeroed out AMS-TLV and 1 of the 2 daily LHR-TLV flights from March 7 until March 14. They were wide open yesterday. They either know something we don't or speculating.

LHR-TLV, CDG-TLV, & FRA-TLV are still wide open. Interestingly, BRU-TLV is available on March 8 but not 11th. Perhaps they have FM personnel booked.

I believe they will do it once the first flight is canceled.

problem is there may be no space left on the tlv-ewr flight by the time the tlv-sfo is officially canceled.
any way to get them to do it now?
