Who put him into quarantine?
From what I'm hearing there is no enforcement...
He was in an official quarantine location with Mir yeshiva.

Anyone got already permit under new guidelines?

If I have a 75 year old uncle living there can my Mother which if 1st degree relative apply for a permit and take along her 50 year old son because 1st degree relative can take along their family?
Would like to know this as well.
And where do I apply?

Odd, groups don’t quarantine and are more likely to infect others in the group...

Israel announced it will open for vaccinated tourist on May 23rd

Here is the statement the Misrad Habriot sent out:

Which serological test is being offered in Israel? Has anyone heard of foreigner being vaccinated with Pfizer and failing Israeli serological test?

Quote
Different serology tests detect antibodies to different parts of the virus, but after vaccination with Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, the antibodies formed will only be to one part of the virus: the spike protein. Some serology tests do not detect antibodies specific to spike protein at all, while others are specific for antibodies that target regions within the spike protein (like the receptor binding domain, or RBD). For example, the Roche Elecsys Anti-SARS-CoV-2 S assay detects antibodies to spike RBD, while the the Platelia SARS-CoV-2 Total Ab assay from Bio-Rad detects antibodies to the nucleocapsid protein. Commercially available serology tests should not be used to seek a positive antibody result after vaccination given the differences in vaccine targets, and current EUAs do not authorize individual serology testing for measuring vaccine efficacy. Therefore, a negative serology test after vaccination does not necessarily mean the vaccine failed and reinforces that serology tests should not be used for this purpose.

ISRAEL: Fully vaccinated foreigners will be able to enter Israel starting May 23, a week after Shavuos, but only groups, which are easier to track, the health and tourism ministers said.

If their concern is faked vaccine records, why doesn't the Israeli consulate in NY open a serology testing center in NY? You pay whatever the test costs, and they get the results directly from the lab..

So they don't want us to visit our family in Israel. So far all of the permission they grant are not practical and are to appease the olim living in Israel. Our entire family has recovered from Covid within the last three months, my wife and I both have siblings living in Israel and we still can't get permission. The embassy tells us there is no way to get around the appostile documents requirements. We would need documents verified from multiple states, including Pennsylvania which has a 6-8 week wait. This is besides for the fact that I was born in Israel, but I am not an Israeli citizen. So my American born abroud birth certificate doesn't have a state associated with it.
We will need to hope they change the policy before out flights on May 10th.

Showing that to Misrad Hapnim is not a good idea unless you want them to force you to accept Israeli citizenship.

I have the status of an American born abroad. I never got a tuda. My son was born in Israel as well and he is also not an Israeli. They are confused every time I visit.

If your son ever comes to learn in Israel as a student make sure he doesn't write your name as his father on the visa application. They will force him to accept citizenship unless they are really spaced out that day.

This was done to a relative of mine when she was 14 and traveling alone.
