Anyone know why the train at Ben Gurion is still not allowing anyone to board? If we are back to the rules from November, why is the train not allowed?
Train will again stop at Ben Gurion for boarding starting tomorrow.

DW did an antibody test in June 2021 which gave her a green pass, which was still valid in early December. When she was there in early December she took a fresh antibody test (at that point one could choose Spike or Nucleus test, she took the latter). When she went in late December, the new rules were in effect and her original green pass was canceled. She was sent to 7 day quarantine (first day in hotel, and continued at home).

I uploaded a positive PCR test from November, along with the antibody test from December, asking for a fresh green pass. She was told that a green pass cannot be issued while she's in quarantine. Yesterday she received two emails, one with a green pass and a second with a digital corona certificate (which should be accepted by EU and other countries). While the green pass has validity until May (six months from most recent documented recovery), the covid certificate has the date of her June antibody test as the date of recovery.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Thats interesting.
Looks like they still dont recognize outside of EU.
https://corona.health.gov.il/en/abroad/certificates-recognized-by-israel/
though according to this- it would seem that they could- as long as it was PCR.

maybe things will change....again...

Is a rapid antigen taken within 24 hours before the flight sufficient to board a united plane to Tel Aviv or need pcr? I know a rapid is sufficient for Israel but doesn't the airline require PCR?

Maybe?
the safe travel website just launched - the information contradicts the health min. website.
So ya, maybe things will change and they will recognize. maybe not. Given that many people cant even get tests-including their own citizens, the rule will need to be revisited as to what does "previously recover" mean when you could not get tested with a PCR.

Something will have to give.

Just thinking outloud, maybe they will move back to the anti-body testing at some point.

Per the "Travel Ready Center" on the United app, for Israel, an antigen test within 24 hours is accepted

What’s the contradiction? Website says you need digitally verifiable PCR positive…

Best/quickest option in J'lem for rapid antigen test before flying to the US?

correct-the ministry of tourism website says that
BUT
the ministry of health says this:
https://corona.health.gov.il/en/abroad/certificates-recognized-by-israel/
it will only recognize recovered from the the list shown. It says explicitly also which countries it WILL NOT recognize.
these rules will need to be updated.

Are trains running from TLV to Yitzhak Navon Station (JLM)?
At one point they stopped them leaving TLV but can't recall if they resumed them.

Looking for some help for a family member. They had Covid but not within 180 days and had 1 shot in August. He had a allergic reaction to the shot (so his dr told him not to take the second one) and has a dr’s note of the sort. Will he be able to enter the country?

No.
Consider switching between mrna/traditional if an allergy is the issue.

His flight is in 8 days. Does it need to be 2 weeks after 2nd shot?
