Link to form that needs to be filled out within 48 hours of flight to Israel

Accordingly, the FINAL criteria For entering Israel are as follows - you must meet ONE of these conditions in order to enter Israel:

1. Vaccinated within 180 days of the trip with either a second vaccine or a booster and it must be at least 14 days after the shot.

2. Recovered within 180 days of the trip with DIGITAL proof of a positive PCR result and more than 11 days have passed since the positive result. This type of proof only exists in the EU. The UK will likely have it as well.

3. Recovered anytime – even more than 180 days before the trip - with DIGITAL proof of positive PCR result AND vaccinated with at least one dose within 180 days of the trip. Again at the moment the digital proof only exists in the EU and possibly the UK shortly.

Wasn’t sure where to ask but what’s the refund policy if you can’t get in to israel because of Covid?
depends on the airline about what your options are.
depends if you travel insurance that covers covid

Can anyone confirm facts on the ground? Are they checking vax certificates to see if you’re within 6 months?
They are not. But if you are more than 6 months and therefore put in the wrong dates on the form, and get caught, you can be banned from Israel for 5 years. Not a risk most people would take.

Do the same entry rules apply for land border crossing? Looking to cross from egypt beginning of March.
What is the rules about the PCR test by the border? Quarantine? Etc.
More specifically, I am vaccinated, looking to make the trip from the Taba border direct to Tel aviv via the bus, than Meron. Will be in Israel for about 24 hrs. Main trip focus is Mount Sinai.

On the MOH website it says "at least 14 days have passed since the second vaccination on the day of arrival in Israel, Not including the vaccination day." - does this mean I can arrive on day 14 or day 15?

FWIW, it seems the gov't website says a foreigner who tests positive in Israel will be taken to a quarantine hotel

What do I do if I’m landing at 9am & hotel won’t let me checkin early? How long fours it usually take to get test results from the airport?

What’s the cost if you register for the airport test online beforehand? & I saw Chaimvchessed list of sites for testing on the return, any idea how much they charge?
