I was told by someone who arranges it for a fee that on the Israel health form you need to enter recovered in Switzerland and upload the recovery certificate, their system will read the QR code and verify it with Switzerland and will give you a green pass.
Here is the link to apply https://covidcertificate-form.admin.ch/foreign
They will ask you where you will stay your first 24 hours in Switzerland,  I googled for an address of a nice hotel.
You will also need to show them proof that you plan to visit Switzerland I uploaded proof of an airline reservation.

Did this work, did you get your Swiss cert and manage to get permit to Israel with it?

If you would use Amex points to book on United, then you can cancel and they will give you an FFC (future flight credit), which can only be used by that passenger. However, you can ask United to convert the FFC into an ETC which will be valid for a year, and can be used by anyone to fly on United.
If you don't fly that much during the year and don't want to get stuck, its probably better to search for award tickets, and transfer the Amex points into miles. Those you can cancel and refund the miles, but you will not be able to transfer the miles back into Amex points.
I just searched Qantas, (which you can transfer Amex into their miles), to fly JFK-TLV monday 4/11, returning Tues night (4/27 12:05am), I searched for 2 tickets, and they had available in coach for 37,800 points each way, to fly direct on Elal. But you need to search first and find flights/dates that work for you before you transfer amex to qantas, and if you do need to cancel, you need to have something to do with those points....

YMMV, gets harder by the day.

Lately, I've had success a couple times through twitter. I thought it got easier. There was no run-around, they just did it same day!

Has anyone who is a US Citizen and recently recovered in Israel traveled to the US Recently?
If so, are the hebrew docs showing your recovery letter from the kuppa + positive test results in Hebrew enough or are they being ridiculous?

Someone wrote to me that AA rejected theirs and insisted on needing a vaccine card.

Another AA story.
I wonder if LY would allow it.

I wonder if going with a Stopover in Switzerland would make it any better.

That's the problem. If a US checkin agent doesn't know the rules, then it's just a gamble.
