I don’t think it’s such a smart idea, I wonder who’s spearheading it. I’m more nervous about aiva than anything else. If it were goyim doing this, I’d back it 100%
It’s not only Jewish businesses

The last couple percent are not gonna be easy to get. The hospital system in NYC was not made to be only 70 percent full.

Hence, bring back a hospital ship.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Though have you seen Murphy?

Also, do you expect him to admit he’s playing politics? ;D

You mean the governor of the armpit of America?

Hence, bring back a hospital ship.
Or count the 2500 beds that are staying empty in the javits center. Like I said, there is zero urgency to reopen in NYC for some reason.

Is this a crazy conspiracy theory? Yes. I've usually tried to keep my posts more towards facts and logic. But these numbers don't make sense to me, because we haven't seen them anywhere else in the world. When "one of these things is not like the others," it bears more scrutiny than just taking the Governor at his say so.

Just to follow up on my craziness, here's a link to Florida Dept. of Health's Weekly Morbidity Statistics: http://www.floridahealth.gov/diseases-and-conditions/disease-reporting-and-management/disease-reporting-and-surveillance/data-and-publications/weekly-morbidity-reports/index.html

Previously, they were updating the previous week's stats within 7 days (see the report published for the week ending Feb 29). I'm ok with some coincidences. This one smells.

Twenty million dollars on a hospital that opened three weeks ago and is now being closed down?

It’s hard to say that Cuomo and BDB could have done a worse job then they did and continue to do.

$20m is much less than 74k air conditioners for $55m.

It’s like the Palestinian cause, let’s maintain the poverty/tragedy so we’re as eligible as ever for humanitarian aid. The pressure has to be on for the federal government to throw money at NYS/NYC, once that happens we’ll be ready to reopen on a dime.

Trump should offer the money to Cuomo on condition he reopens. That’ll get things moving.

Javits center are other field hospital aren't nowhere near what the hospital ship is. The ship is a fully functioning proper hospital. It also doesn't occupy space that can be used for other productive economic activity.

Javits center is not currently space that can be used for "other productive economic activity"
Actually i'm not sure if there is much "productive economic activity" in NYC right now

If they would make a shul in the Javits center, would they still allow only 10 people in the building?
