$25 billion for the U.S. Postal Service
My dad had to promise his workers that they won't lose out from being rehired in order to fulfill PPP. Will come out of the business' pocket
The Count is biased due to:When the count sees money for the USPS, he can't think of any arguments against it.
What is the purpose of the USPS?
Lose out as in raise wages to compete with UI? Or that he won't fire them after? Because technically they can all go back on UI after those 8 weeks are over.
Why don't you tell us? MS?
If they are offered a job and decline, can't they lose their UI?
Yes in most states they will not be eligible for UI. Saying workers would rather stay home than going back to work is calling them lazy.
Quotes in a signature is annoying, as it comes across as an independent post.
Would you work for free, or pay to work?
Employees of many businesses are facing a pay cut for returning to work, as UI with the extra $600 is more than many people make at work. Are you saying someone is lazy if they don’t work for free, or even take a pay cut to do so? They’re essentially paying to do work.
Need a source for this because in my family then can't wait to get back to work.
You made the snide remark so back it up.
You are a lazy SCUMBAG!!!
Did I ever say the USPS doesn't serve a purpose? Or that it shouldn't get funds? All I said is that you're biased. Had this been a legal proceeding and you would be the judge, you would be expected to recuse yourself.
This was harsh and was meant that way to make a point. There will be those in the low income bracket where it will be a hard decision.
definitely harsh, many people making less then the current UI deal were likely struggling to make ends meet as it is.
