looks many stores included: costco, walmart, bingo!

It deducts the eligible items and leaves you with a balance you need to pay.

so you think all unprepared products should work at costco, walmart etc...?
cereal, salsa, chips, frozen salmon should all be good?

Regular SNAP can be used across state lines so possibly?

Correct. The simplest way to use it is to shop like you normally would, but every time you check out in your local grocery/costco/walmart etc. you swipe your P-EBT card and anything remaining you pay with your regular tender (CC, cash, etc.).

Re NY P-EBT

For children not on SNAP Seems as your schools need to try matching you up on an online portal with a Medicaid case if they find one.

If they don't have on they mark it as other. Those will need to wait for a card in the mail.

If you don't have SNAP but have Medicaid you can try calling the school to help them match you up so you will get the money on to your Medicaid card

NY states that funds will be available for one year from issue the issue date.

No. P-EBT food benefits will remain available and accessible on your EBT card for up to one year from the date they are issued.

If someone has snap how would they even know if they received the PEBT amounts on their card?

Check the deposits in your online account.

They checked and in june there were some random deposits but it gave no details.
