You were always able to.

The mandatory two-week in place quarantine remains in place for New York residents who travel to Florida upon their arrival. Property managers and hotels are required by law to report offenders (certain in Miami Beach are strict as those hotels start to reopen), but my guess is for many (or most) on this forum - the mandatory quarantine is like requirement to wear a mask (in shul or other locations)- ie doesn't apply to me or I know better so don't need to follow...

Basically self-regulation in this area doesn’t work.

Anybody have the Cyprus whitelist?

Amazing how poor of a job countries are doing in communicating their policies to prospective tourists.

Mexico:
July 1 is the tentative "Phase 1" starting date when hotels can reopen.

The tourism board will be running promos to attract tourists:
https://www.insider.com/cancun-free-hotel-overnights-discounts-tourism-incentive-2020-5

"Perks include two free nights for every two nights paid for by guests, two free days of car rentals for every two days paid for, free stays for up to two children when two adults book, as well as 20% off at participating theme parks, golf courses, and spas."

Campaign is said to go live on June 15 for bookings through August 15, 2020.

Quote
Phase 1 – Until 15 June
International flights are allowed only into Athens airport.
All visitors are tested upon arrival and are required to stay overnight at a designated hotel. If the test is negative, then the passenger self-quarantines for 7 days. If the test is positive, the passenger is quarantined under supervision for 14 days.

Phase 2 – Bridge phase- 15 June to 30 June
International flights are allowed into Athens and Thessaloniki airports.
If your travel originated from an airport not in the EASA affected area list (https://www.easa.europa.eu/SD-2020-01/Airports#group-easa-downloads), then you are only subject to random tests upon arrival.
If you originate from an airport on the EASA affected area list, then you will be tested upon arrival. An overnight stay at a designated hotel is required. If the test is negative then the passenger self-quarantines for 7 days. If the test is positive, the passenger is quarantined under supervision for 14 days.

Phase 3 – 1 July onwards
International flights are allowed into all airports in Greece.
Visitors are subject to random tests upon arrival.
Additional restrictions regarding certain countries will be announced at a later date.

Origination is the first flight on your travel itinerary.  For example, if you travel from the United States and connect through Germany, your U.S. flight is considered your origination.  If your origination airport is on the EASA affected area list, you are subject to testing and quarantine per above.
As of June 12, we are waiting for clarification on several scenarios, such as transit from a country or U.S. state not on the EASA affected area list through a country or U.S. state on the EASA list.  We will update this page as more information becomes available from the Greek government.

Tldr - July 10 for US. Requires negative test within 72 hours of flight, OR a test when you land and a 24 hr quarantine when you land. Relatively draconian procedures should you get sick while there.

Iceland reopening for Americans pushed back, no clear info as to a roadmap. Rumors are that it will correspond with the Schengen reopening.

Was wondering the same thing. At least I don't have to eat my hat :)

Closure of Canadian and Mexican borders extended again, till July 21st. This is getting ridiculous, pushing it off every few weeks without having the slightest plan or roadmap in place.

EU probably won't be reopening to US citizens when they reopen on July 1.
