I added a google form to the wiki but didn’t add too many options, it’s just easier to fill out and more comprehensive. Send to anyone who would fill it out.
What are you planning on doing with the info?

Same as he’s done with the rest of the information he’s processed so far, which has been pretty level-headed IMHO.

I was curious if it is only for our use on the forum as has been previous projects with @S209 or if there were bigger plans in the making.

Thanks. I’m going to try and see if I can collect responses from a large and varied pool. If I manage to get enough respondents I will show the results to medical professionals to see what they say, and based on that, bring it to the attention of Rabbanim as well be”h.

I also am close with a local politician who would love to see what the numbers look like.

Maybe you should check if the methodology will really yield useful results first. Otherwise would risk decisions being made based on unreliable or incomplete data. There is a strong possibility of selection bias here.

I was thinking the same thing, selection bias.

Im going to get tested Monday. I had no symptoms, but was very exposed to people who tested positive. Ill keep you posted with the results.https://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?action=post;quote=2252477;topic=116518.15;last_msg=2256066
Test results came back negative. I actually find it interesting, if this virus is as contagious as they say, shouldnt I have gotten it due to the close proximity of exposure?

I’m getting tested tomorrow, and in the same boat. Hoping to test positive for antibodies because I’m confident it means long-term immunity even if I’m going to have to maintain the same behaviors for the time being because we aren’t sure.

Join the club. No one knows for sure, but it's pretty clear at this point that exposure (even heavy/close/prolonged) does not always equal infection.

Does anyone know which test GenPath lab uses?
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

I think it has a lot to do with whether the infected was coughing/sneezing or not and how well people wash their hands. Clearly it's not as contagious as once thought.

For those who got a negative result, did you look at the paperwork to check if you have some antibodies, but not 'enough' to be considered positive?

Mine said:
Negative: A negative antibody screen result indicates that a serum dilution of 1:50 showed no specific antibodies to Covid19 virus.

You got your results in less then 24 hours?
Doesn't it usually take 2-3 days?

What kind of exposure?
I agree with the concept, but passing exposure is nothing close to prolonged exposure. You can easily be more exposed to someone in shul/bais medrash much more than a family member over an entire week.

This is visible in various studies as well.
https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/30/opinions/eye-opening-south-korea-study-on-covid-19-sepkowitz/index.html
https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/eid/article/26/8/20-1274_article

While those who sat in the same area of the office were infected at a very high rate, their family members were only infected at about a 16% rate while the floor of the office building had an infection rate of 44%. If you count only the infected side then it reaches a rate of 58% by the time it was caught. An interesting point is that in the entire side of the office there are only 2 infected seats without another infected right next to or across from it. Much of this setup is very comparable to a shul and shows how the risks in a shul are MUCH higher than the risks in a home or store.
