I had a very friendly rep on the phone and I gave her the code V79 but she wasn't even able to locate it. She told me she searched their whole system, and couldn't find any other codes. She must not have been too competent.
It's a shame, b/c I had her eating out of my hand, and couldn't take advantage.

i was told last week when i called, that it was a printer mistake on the form and they wont match it, cus honestly its not really the correct amount. But who knows... just sharing what i heard..

I called. They didn't even ask me for the code. I told them that I've been a longtime chase customer.  They said that they would send me a letter in 7 days. I never got the letter yet but I went online and saw the points. I just signed up a month ago for this card. I haven't met the 3k threshold but will at the close of this bill thanks to AP. When I went online today I saw 26454 pts. and I spent $1454 last month.

I just signed up for the 50k bonus from Chase and got something in the mail today for an offer from chase for 75 thousand pionts!!!! Is there anyway they will give me the 25k difference?

Update to my original post:
I still had not received the bonus of 75000 (as opposed to 50000) for my saphire card. I called them and they said it should hit my account by the end of november. When i went to look today, I didnt see anything yet so I sent a SM and this was teh response.

I don't think that the csr was being rude. I'm glad that we both got the additional 25,000 pts. You can go onto chase.com or ultimaterwards.com and see the 25,000 pts. posted before you actually get the statement. That's how I discovered the extra points. I got those before I met the 3k threshold.
