Question about booking for tomorrow

Booking a United ticket for tomorrow night, which may need to be cancelled

Am I correct to assume that I have 24 hours if I book with Priceline? And If I book with United, no cancellation window?
And if I book with Priceline, I will still be able to upgrade MUA award?

can book on PL or UA and still have the cancellation window of 24hrs.
Yes you can use MUA.
