Everyone's talking about camps. Figured I'd start a new conversation..... Any thoughts what will be with bungalow colonies. Those are MUCH harder to institute any sort of social distancing and hard for anyone to even attempt to claim they will! What is a bungalow colony with social distancing??! But I know some colonies are saying they expect to open. I heard of one that said they are "definitely" opening. Idk how a/o can talk with such confidence but when they want your pmt installment........ Either way; it's getting awfully late for Cuomo to make his decision! We're one month from summer.
Um, this thread is about a month too late...
As per health inspector they are giving out temporary residence (TR) permits think thats the permits bung colonies need to open
Where did you see this? Why on earth would they allow colonies but not camps? If anything the colonies seem to be a much bigger issue. The camps are saying they can implement some sort of total lockdown. Not so with colonies- at all. The way I see it; nothing can be more disastrous as far as social distancing goes than a bungalow colony
I agree 100% but this is law not logic
Possibly, the law is more stringent re camps because it is children, as opposed to bungalows which is consenting adults.
Because bungalow colonies don't have any children.
You missed my point. Try to look at it like a liberal.
Do parents send their children to camp without their own consent?
Forget it. You're incorrigible.
I guess I won't make a good liberal
oxymoron alert
Bungalow colonies have fewer shared spaces and, in theory, allow for more social distancing than a camp, where group activities, public bathrooms, dining rooms, and shuls/social halls make distancing virtually impossible.
Allow? Maybe. At all likely? I think not.
