Amazon Delays

Has anyone been getting compensation for the long delays it's taking Amazon to get products shipped?

They warn you when you order that Covid has delayed availability and shipping for many items.
Is that to head off requests for compensation?

Even with the longer shipping estimates, things have been coming a few days later than predicted. Not everything, but enough to make me not rely on the dates they say.

I'm finding myself ordering a lot from staples these days because of the no min free shipping and the almost daily coupons ($15 off $60 and $25 off $100) everything comes within 2-3 days.
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

no min free shipping
is that standard? I thought they made you spend $50?

Seller Fulfilled Prime orders have to arrive within 2 Business days, if you can find items that have SFP sellers on them that would prob be the quickest

Interesting, just had a pair of shoes come in less than 48 hours. I guess that was why.

How could you know on a listing if it’s SFP?

ive had target take a week. and im wondering whether amazon should compensate their prime members in some way since 2 day shipping was the reason i signed up in the first place. im also finding most items dont even have no rush shipping option. everything is no rush anyhow...

Yes there was another thread where someone mentioned that he chatted to complain and he got $20 credit. Someone else responded on that thread that he did the same and got $15. I followed suit and got $20 (after initially being offered $5) and my friend did as well.

Not really, I've had the same as below.

Target has not always been 2 days for me, but staples has been consistently 1-2 days this whole time and I've made about a dozen orders. I think the reason is because staples uses (mostly) their own 3rd party shipper.

If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

Did you chat with a person? When I tried I just got a bot and it said my package will be there in another few days.

when you go to your Amazon app for example to chat, don't click on an order as it will just tell you when it's being delivered or the history, try to write something else.

if you're using a mobile phone chatting in the Amazon app is usually the easiest.

when your orders would come up, all you have to do is click x on the top right corner and then continue typing and it will connect you to a representative.
