Correct.  His medical report was written by one person, his doctor.  Biden has spoken to many people over the course of his life, and regarding his specific interest in air pollution and cancer.  It is possible that someone else made the connection to him, although his personal physician did not, at least not in the medical report. 

Or it's possible that he just confused these issues, as I mentioned in previous post.

Yes, there's considerable evidence to support the claim that pollution causes the development of asthma in the first place, and also that it worsens the symptoms of someone who already has asthma.

That is, it increases the chances of developing asthma.  I didn't mean to imply that it is the only cause.

Not as strong an association, but people who live in highly polluted areas are somewhat more likely to develop cognitive problems, including dementia.

i disagree. yelped comment was that we all agree pollution is bad. do you know anyone, righ, left or center who disagrees with that?
then he said that we should reduce it as much as possible. the left says we must close down factorys and switch to electricity intstead of gas etc. etc. because thats whats possible. the right say that this is not possible but other small things are possible and therefore we can do those things. but they agree in principle. the argument is over what is possible.
