Tracking Tool for #Days in State....

I have 2 homes and take occasional trips.  Is there an easy app to track the # of days that I am away from home so I don't risk losing my residency status in my home state?

Google maps has a feature to track where you went. You can technically manually go through every day to see. There's also an option to see how many times you visited a city. But I don't know if you can filter that for 1 year.

I doubt theres an easy app for that. Likely your best bet would be to keep track of it manually and use Google maps to fill in the times your not sure

Another option that might work is to use tasker with a geofence to send a message to your email and then create a filter to countb how many times the message came.

I wonder if you can get the data from google location services.

ETA you can definitely export a spreadsheet of location history
