You can actually effectively do that even from just a Pro-account

The most effective Zoom I saw was 1 speaker and one moderator/comment reader. Every time speaker stopped his sentence, moderator jumped in and asked questions from crowd.
Eta: Which can only be done from Zoom not YT live
+1

You need someone else reviewing the questions and at some point the speaker says let's break for questions, and then the reviewer presents them one at a time and the speaker answers, until time runs out :)

THIS. We have done this for work. (The way we did it, was that the participants freely chatted their questions, and the moderator, would occasionally stop the presenter to have them answer. Regardless, the moderator would also make sure that every chat question got answered.)

Another method is to have people post the questions on a ddms post or ddf thread. That way the moderator can read them for the speaker to answer, and whichever there is no time for / are out of scope, can be answered by moderators or other users later. Otherwise I'm not sure if there's an easy way to access and respond to the zoom questions later.
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Sefiras haomer תשפא.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

That's what happens when you overcomplicate things. Especially when dealing with zoom

Bump

Since Australia and New Zealand are mostly shut down for international travel, this might not be relevant in תשפא either.

Very interesting. Not going into too many details on the date line but now I finally understand the Chazon Ish's logic.

I made a map a while ago showing the three line options where you can zoom in to check a particular location and see where it falls. Happy to see both examples he mentioned smack in middle of my lines.

didn't read the article or watch the shiur, but doesn't R' Tzuukatzinsky's line bend at the ends?

Never heard of something like that, and it's definitely not on the STAR-K map it's based on.

But considering that we're talking about a line of longitude, bending would be dependent on the map projection used.

Aren't there some that hold that the entire land mass of Australia is part of one side, even the part that sticks out? I once heard that it is assur to go swimming off the coast of some parts of Australia on Sunday (or Friday), as it is Shabbos off the coast.

ETA: Obviously, according to the Chazon Ish's line

All main shittos hold that. He mentions that there are a few who question going after the landmass but that's an extreme (and logically difficult) position.
