Where’s the hypocrisy? He’s not saying it’s the right thing to open the parks. He’s saying don’t have double standards.

I would agree to you that it's hypocrisy, if the outrage would have been because of the illegality. However, I firmly believe that the majority of those outraged was because of the gross immorality, and therefore is not comparable. As such, there is no hypocrisy at all in this.

Sure I can tell the difference and said so. What was done in the park was illegal and should be called out. Instead we have complete silence. What if the protester cut a lock on a fence in DC near the WH. They would have been shot and many here would be cheering about it.

What the government did was illegal. FULL STOP!!! When you see peaceful protests without a single illegal thing done gets absolutely nothing thru to the narrow minded governments head, but you see that murder, thievery, and destruction is praised, cutting a lock that was placed against citizens rights by the government doesn't seem quite illegal anymore. Quite frankly the government basically showed that that is what is meant to be done.
