So looting, stealing and the like is the same as murder. Now there is some common sense. 
Over and over again the term "animals" is used to describe the protesters, looters and rioters. What is odd it is never used to describe the murdering police officers. I guess murder is not that bad. That is what I call fair and balanced.

Yes the issue without unions would be that it becomes too easy to have politically motivated investigations and firings even when protocol was followed. I am not sure what the solution is.
