Only one officer?

The second officer at the end of the video looks to be correctly using his baton to keep a protester away from the cops on the ground. The first officers action looks to be vicious and uncalled for. Hard to see anything else in the video rises to the level that warrants charges. There’s another officer with a baton in the background but it’s hard to make out what is going on and if he was warranted in striking the guy.

So looting, stealing and the like is the same as murder. Now there is some common sense. 
Over and over again the term "animals" is used to describe the protesters, looters and rioters. What is odd it is never used to describe the murdering police officers. I guess murder is not that bad. That is what I call fair and balanced. 

I believe it is correct to call looters and rioters (not peaceful protesters) "animals" but not murdering police officers. Here's why:

All human beings have animalistic tendencies. Part of our human-ness is the ability to control these drives. This includes the drive to fulfill physical pleasures without regard to the effect on others, and the destructive drive when angry. These are things that would be expected of a bull. But humans should be above that. When they grossly fail in that, they can justifiably be referred to as "animals".

However, when an individual murders someone who is posing no threat to them, even animals would be embarrassed to be associated with him. The only proper term for someone like that is; MONSTER.

Buffalo, New York police officers Aaron Torgalski and Robert McCabe have been charged with second-degree assault in connection with the graphic caught-on-video shove of a 75-year-old man during a protest. Both have pleaded not guilty.

I would only highlight Jewishness at a protest where I could be confident that no one would turn against me for being Jewish. If I had any doubts, I would go with a generic sign that doesn't draw attention to my Jewishness.
