If you were a police officer and saw a man so drunk that he fell asleep in a drive through then stole a weapon and pointed it at me....
What would be going through your mind?
Why should the police chief lose her job?
A live lost is sad but you just destroyed a (probably) franchised restaurant causing thebhard working owner to lose his livelihood.... because this happened in his parking lot?

Why do cops use tasers? To incapacitate someone. Now if someone resisting arrest gets his hands on one, why do you think he’ll do? What will he go for next?

I can see you never had any self-defense training. Deadly force should never have been used in that situation.

I was gonna say in my last post, that I’m sure they’re taught this  in training and I have no clue what the rules of engagement are, but that’s what I would say

It is a judgement call and he used poor judgement.

Look at the officers hand. What did he have in his hand?

watching a video is definitely easier then doing the dirty work yourself, there is no risk assessment involved when you watch a video

Ridiculous that we even have to have this conversation. Don’t grab an officers weapon and you won’t get shot. Easy to understand. Don’t come crying afterwards about what a good guy he was.

It’s really incredible how deep your head is in the sand. The guy had a taser and attacked the cops. He could have tased the cop and stole his gun, yet the cops should show restraint...
