Keep in mind before you buy that rental cars look nice, but under the hood they may be pretty abused.

Many people have very good experiences with rental car sales.  We buy them for our salespeople who put a ton of miles on for a few years and then re-sell them.
In the world of used cars the most likely sources are off-lease and off-fleet.  I find that off-lease may be less abused but have very poor maintenance.

I'll also add that the used car market (not necessarily including private sales) is very efficient.  Prices move very logically and consistently and any glut being sold off by Hertz is going to be consistent with the market.

This. Rental cars may go through lots more abuse, but also get tons of maintenance, so the company can keep it "in the system" for as long as possible.

Over 3k more seems like alot. I guess it depends on the price of buying a warrantee for the 13.5k vehicle.

Did anyone purchase a car through them?
I'm in the process of buying a new car. The prices do seem good is there anything I'm missing?

They are used cars, not new.

Assuming I'm understanding the motion correctly, if the Judge denies Hertz' request their could be a flood (500k!) of used vehicles hitting the market soon.
