I don't know the legal side, and I'm assuming it varies by the state, but I wouldn't advise it. One man with a gun is no match for throngs of people angry seeking revenge. Rather, perhaps shooting pellets or other non-lethal bullets would make more sense.

its more to prevent anyone from coming in the 1st place, its alot diff if u think u will prob get shot if you riot people's houses

You can shoot looters. Basically if they are attacking your store and in that sense they are attacking you then you can defend yourself. That would be under stand your ground law in FL.
