Like it or not, this is a prospective candidate:

CNN President Jeff Zucker is considering running for mayor of New York City, The New York Times reported Sunday.

“New York City is going to need a very strong mayor in the aftermath of this, and I always like a challenge,” Zucker told The Times.

The 55-year-old Zucker has served as CNN’s president since 2013 and previously led NBC in the late 2000s. The mayoral election will take place next year and incumbent Democratic New York Mayor Bill de Blasio is ineligible to run again due to term limits.

From listening to him on the radio, I think he’s a little crazy, but that prob won’t be so bad for nyc. I actually think he would have a chance if elections were today

Curtis Sliwa donned a wetsuit and his trademark Guardian Angels red beret and strode into the water at Coney Island Sunday in defiance of Mayor Bill de Blasio’s no-swimming order. A crowd cheered Sliwa on as several city Parks Department officers tried to order the Guardian Angels founder and New York mayoral candidate out of the surf. Sliwa ignored the orders and swam around for about an hour.

Before he dove in, Sliwa stuck a cardboard cutout of de Blasio’s face on the beach and kicked sand on it.

What are his chances in NYC being that he's from the right camp.. and it doesn't look like NYC is anywhere near electing a Right wing Mayor.
