I used to do that with Palm for my Centro (after I had no service on it)

I believe thet is only when you're out of warranty. Since you're still under warranty, you should get a free ticket number. 1-877-255-2377

I called them and they said that they couldn't help me even though it's within a year bc when they sell the phone to sprint they sell the warranty with it and sprint says they can't help me without having service with them any ideas?

In addition, search the BB forums (crackberry etc.). I'm sure others have run into the same problem as you.

(Another idea, maybe more farfetched and as a last resort if all else fails, is to sign up for new service with sprint and cancel within 30 days. Swap the phone in between. (I would't usually condone this because of ethical reasons, but in this case, I think Sprint is being unethical with you. Just my 2 cents))
