Hey all, I'm travelling as a family with 2 adults & 5 kids and the AA FAQ for Basic Economy fares (https://www.aa.com/i18n/travel-info/special-assistance/traveling-children.jsp) indicates that children under 14 will automatically be seated with at least one adult.  My question is...if I want to make sure that my wife and I (and kids) aren't separated- can I put my wife's bday as under 14?  Any potential risks involved?  :-X

If I plan to upgrade to a preferred seat.
