Anyone with Health Insurance (from the 4 HMO's).

In theory anybody present in Israel is eligible for vaccination. In practice most vaccines are administered by the 4 Kupot, so if you aren't a member of one of them, the only options are MDA & hospitals.

I wonder if there is even 1 Gadol who holds schools should be open, weddings should be held as normal, people shouldn't wear masks, and it's ok to post in an online forum for entertainment.

But who are you quoting from? I have seen so many thing in the name of "gedolei hador" that really meant "what I want to do" and was never said by anyone other than maybe a small minority.

So eiva with secular Jews is definitely not part of this teshuva.

Anyway, I'll start. I'm a Belzer and my Rebbe is gadol in my eyes and he holds to keep everything open and has been doing that including now. He himself was also very sick with covid and he didn't change anything before or after.

On a side note. Covid is very very bad, but historically, something that under a half percent of stricken die, was never ever considered a pandemic that turned over the world.

Israel has 583k confirmed cases. It's fair to say that likely at least 1.5 million people have already had covid. Deaths are under 0.3% of likely cases.

I'm not belittling covid. I lost my FIL to it, but it doesn't change anything. Everyone should follow their Rav.

At what point did he become a gadol in your eyes? At 9 years old when he was the destined Rebbe? Or only at 18 when he was actually crowned Rebbe? Or at some other point since then?

I don't know about this incident, but it pains me so to see the going ons in EY. Is there really no leadership that can bring them out of the constant battle and hate mode?

For many in the leadership the most important objective is keeping people ‘on the derech’ and for better or for worse antagonizing the rest of the country keeps the frum community polarized & segregated.
