Is this just the typical Charedim being ahead of the curve so theirs started sooner and is thus falling sooner, or something else?

With surging charedi vaccinations and prior surging infections, you have to get to herd immunity at some point. We'll see. Prior waves declined only to come back. Good thing we have vaccines.

The Israeli Health Ministry on Saturday recommended that people who have recovered from COVID-19 receive a single vaccine dose, instead of the two shots administered to those not previously infected.

The committee further recommended that the single dose be administered at least three months after recovering from the virus, Channel 12 reported on Saturday.

Around 400,000 Israelis currently fall into that category.

Israel's Health Ministry reported an additional 1,761 new cases of COVID in Israel. In addition, the number of seriously ill patients in hospitals dropped to 872 on Friday.

At the same time, a total of 2,881,825 people received the second vaccine by Friday afternoon, bringing the number of people who have received both doses of the vaccine in the country to over 31%.
