My impression is that the morning update has a lot of the routine mandatory testing and is therefore usually lower.

I have noticed this week that in Charedi areas in JLM such as Geula, here has been an increase of masks being worn in the streets. I wonder if it is to do with people being more worried as the cases are going higher or because the police have been enforcing mask compliance more recently (such as a visit to the new Sharei Revacha last week) so ppl wear them while popping in from one shop to the other or buses.

I am more inclined to go with the second reason as there hasn't been an increase of mask wearers in shuls which at the moment the government doesn't seem to be interested in enforcing it.

I have noticed a clear increase in mask wearing in the shul I was frequenting in Yerushalayim over the past two weeks - from very few to almost everyone.

Which areas, Har Nof or Bayit Vegan? From what I've seen in the RE, Sanhedria, Sanhedria Murchevet, Romema areas no one seems to be more makpid. I'm not including areas which never bothered with masks in the first place.

*מכבי :מעקב ראשון מסוגו בעולם מוכיח כי למנת החיסון השלישית יעילות של 86% בקרב גילאי 60+*

במעקב שביצע אגף מידע ובריאות דיגיטלית במכבי, אחר מחוסנים בני 60+ שחוסנו במנה השלישית, נמצאה יעילות של 86% במניעת הדבקה לאחר 7 ימים ויותר מקבלת החיסון.

במסגרת המעקב השוו במכבי בין 149,144 מחוסנים במנה השלישית בני 60+ שחלפו 7 ימים ויותר מקבלת החיסון, לבין 675,630 מחוסנים במנה השנייה מהחודשים ינואר – פברואר (מחוסנים שעברו 5 חודשים ויותר מאז קבלת המנה השנייה), במדגם מזווג לגיל, מין, מצב סוציואקונומי ומגזר. מהנתונים עולה כי מתוך 149,144 מתחסנים, ובמעקב של שבוע ויותר לאחר המנה השלישית, נמצאו 37 מאומתים לקורונה בלבד(!), כאשר במקביל מתוך חברי מכבי שחוסנו לפני 5 חודשים ויותר וטרם קיבלו את המנה השלישית (675,630), נמצאו 1,064 חולים מאומתים פעילים.

יעילות החיסון הנמדדת, בקרב המתחסנים במנה השלישית ועומדת על 86% (!)
