Don't really have anything to add, you're aware of the risks. I have no idea if the border is an issue anymore, but I'm guessing it isn't.
Was never an issue
Are you sure it's free? I know in NJ if you have insurance it's free. Other wise you gotta pay.
I believe COVID test will cost around $200 but not sure.

I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Hey, you've got to give it to them for ingenuity. Best way to reduce bus ridership is to eliminate the A/C (though I really feel bad for the bus drivers).

Oy
One step away from lockdown. Everything indoors closing with the exception of shuls capped at 19 people

Malls cafes and restaurants are all open for now, they only restricted the amount of people inside. The only indoor things closing are theaters and bars.

So instead of limiting Travels to 20 and let everyone else cramp by the station, an alternative would be to hire some of the 1000s of private bus companies who are all unemployed and everyone would be happy. No one thinks here anymore sadly it became a huge political game

You can be sent to quarentine in a hotel for 14 days upon return to Israel. (Basically a jail sentence).

They just tried this with my bil today..

Nah, you just aren't machshiv Toirah B'Rabim and would rather have the bars open and the Yeshivas closed.

Don't know what's so surprising. The opposite of open is shut. See virus, shut down world. Dem's da rules, right?

Take this as you like.

The Times of Israel reports a hospital director said most COVID-19 patients who died at his institution had approximately a year’s life expectancy.

“Coronavirus was the thing that tipped them over, but to be honest, for most of these patients who died here in Shaare Zedek, the chance is they had a year of life expectancy, not much more,” said Ofer Merin.

Around 1 in 10 Israelis who died from coronavirus succumbed at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, where Merin is Director. He told Times of Israel that almost all the institution’s fatalities were both elderly and had other diseases.
