If the govt falls, will the seger end?
🙊

No.
It's easier for the govt to do what ever it wants without Knesset oversight.

I was arrested twice, I mean I'd evade the cops and army in gush katif, chevron etc..

I understand it all, the chareidi deep distrust and downward animosity towards the country..

The average guy on the street losing his business.

They would not be where they are now if everybody just wore a mask
Mask compliance is very high here. It's easy to say that as long as everyone wore a mask, we'd be in better shape, just not sure how accurate it is

Depends how you define compliance.
Walk through Geula or on Shamgar and almost everyone is wearing a mask...somewhere on their body ;) on the chin, round the neck, in their hand...
On buses there's almost 100% compliance.
In certain neighborhoods there's almost 100% non-compliance.

Exactly.

Time for people to acknowledge that אין עצה ואין תבונה לנגד השם.

IMHO there would be MORE SD and mask wearing (at least in the US) if those wouldn't be mandatory, but rather the authorities and medical professionals would publicly state "we have no solution for this virus, a vaccine isn't likely in the near future, our best recommendation for people who wish to avoid getting infected is to maintain physical distancing and wear masks".

Couple that with an immunity bracelet and you'll see much better outcomes.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

immunity bracelet

Walk on to any college campus and you can have a fake license in under an hour. Fake bracelets are such a big issue at music festivals, they've inserted RFID chips into them and have entire fraud departments set up to spot and track down fakes. 10 minutes after the first "immunity bracelet" is given out you'll be able to buy one on Craigslist for $20.

Do you really believe that heavily incentivizing catching it will lead to better outcomes?

Which is why I said 770 is different. It's small scale and verifiable.

In China they put it on an app. In Israel they can tie it to TZ and/or biometrics.

You realize there are 9 million people in Israel and most of them don’t live in the places that you are mentioning?
You seem to have bought into the idea that this is a strictly chareidi problem.

very funny, i wasnt referring to the act of eating.
i mean if someone's business is considered "not vital" and must be closed, i understand him continuing to do business even though he is risking being punished

In China, they have financial, technological, and enforcement capabilities which cannot be replicated.

Mahane Yehuda, Jerusalem's open-air market, to remain open during lockdown
Jerusalem mayor announces largest market in region will remain open during lockdown, praises change of policy.

Quote
Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion on Tuesday morning announced that the Mahane Yehuda open-air market will remain open during the upcoming three-week lockdown.

Lion said that the decision was made after discussions with senior Health Ministry officials, and that the market will remain open since supermarkets are also allowed to remain open.

"The shuk (market) is a central source of food in the city of Jerusalem, and I praise the change in policy regarding open-air markets," he said.

On Monday, it was decided to exempt Ben Gurion International Airport from the lockdown, allowing Israelis with tickets in and out of the country to fly to their destinations.

It was also decided that buses and trains would operate during the lockdown, in capacities similar to their regular routines.

My issue is that I believed in masks 100% until I saw what's happening here in Israel.

We have I'd presume one of the highest rates of mask-wearing outside of Asia and yet we somehow have the highest percentage of new covid cases each day.

Just because a few chareidi neighborhoods don't wear masks that doesn't explain the numbers across the entire country.

Especially when the chareidi areas aren't testing as much as other places.... and they don't have nearly as many positives as other places.
