I have heard mixed reports about USA citizens getting tickets for not wearing a mask.If a police makes you empty your pockets to show an ID ,then tells you I'm sending a ticket to your house ,will a ticket arrive in the mail?!I spoke to a few people who told me it never arrived....
They often say that and don't bother sending, even to Israelis. If you don't have a TZ or drivers license number, it's all but impossible for IL Police to give you a ticket. They have to create a fictitious TZ# for their system to handle it, and I'm not sure just any cop can do that.

Just to let you all know that Meuchedet is offering antibody testing for free for now. You need a dr's referral and you have to prove that you were near a person that tested positive.
It is for people who had someone who tested positive in their household and they themselves were negative at the time.
The IL Police typical power tactic is to use a law intended to tell if somebody is an illegal Arab immigrant, which allows them to take to the station and detain for 3h (and 3 more w a senior police officer) anybody who refuses to identify themselves. The Coronavirus Cabinet decided Monday night to institute a nighttime lockdown over the Hanukkah holiday in an effort to prevent a further spread of the coronavirus over the eight-day festival.According to the decision, all trading businesses will be closed during the evenings and nights.. However, the hotels in the 'Green Islands' in Eilat and the Dead Sea will be able to continue operating as usual. The hour of closing will be determined tomorrow.At the same time, it was confirmed that after a successful pilot program, the malls will be open to the general public.The decision to institute a nightly lockdown over Hanukkah was made as the first part of a three-part plan by National Security Adviser Meir Ben Shabat.
