Who is telling them not to get vaccinated? Makes sense, but I haven't actually seen that.

Related DP: My father received monoclonal antibodies from Eli Lilly within a couple of days of infection. His doctor told him those antibodies leave the system within a couple of weeks, and it’s not clear if his body would have mounted its own immune response. He checked for antibodies and came back positive yesterday, so the doctor advised him to hold off on receiving the vaccine for now.

Interesting footnote. The doctor told him if you don’t need the vaccine (meaning if you are positive for antibodies) you should not get it at this point, because all vaccines carry some inherent risk. However, he believes the risk of contracting COVID is undoubtedly worse than the risk from the vaccine for any healthy adult so any adult who is not positive for antibodies should certainly take the vaccine as soon as it is available to them.

Gonna be very difficult, apparently large shareholders and directors are giving the Pfizer execs a very hard time over prioritizing Israel and irking other countries.

We won't see Israel publicly advertising vaccine for money for a long time, although it's technically possible to buy today if you can get into Israel.

Please let us the know the stats you used to determine your 'plain old common sense'. Specifically the likelihood of vaccine adverse effect vs the likelihood of reinfection (and severe outcomes) for people with positive antibodies test.

(And don't change the argument to prioritization and better give the vaccine to somebody without antibodies. The reasoning posted was that inherent risk of vaccine outweighs covid reinfection)

The original prioritization rules excluded people with positive antibodies tests, that's since been revised and now anybody over 60+ is entitled to get the vaccine, and its easy for younger people with a bit of hocking.

I saw a theory that Israel’s success can be attributed to post-traumatic survivalism, which can be seen in a higher rate of pregnancy tests & birth rate  (obviously this is just to explain how the nes manifested itself)
