Should be 60% of 60+ by tonight, + 12.5% of 60+ who has covid already, getting close to the point where there aren’t any more 60+ willing and able to get vaccinated. In an Ohio hospital only 40% agreed to be vaccinated
Where did you get the 12.5% from?

Also, is 40% general population or over 60? I assume the vaccination in over 60 will be greater than general population?

I confused the number. 12.5% of recorded positives are 60+, not 12.5% of 60+ were reported positive, so it's only 2% of 60+

https://data.gov.il/dataset/covid-19/resource/8455d49f-ce32-4f8f-b1d4-1d764660cca3?inner_span=True&filters=age_group%3A60%2B

Also, is 40% general population or over 60? I assume the vaccination in over 60 will be greater than general population?
On the other hand I'd think hospital HCW participation would be higher than general population.

Apparently, when CEO of Hadassah asked about the legality of such a notice, his response was "I don't have an attorney in my pocket to advise me on this".  ::)
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

7.3% positivity rate.
I can't believe people are still making this argument
Positivity rate is deceptive! What you really need is total positive tests.

Yes but if it cannot be used across the education system then what have we accomplished?

That's not what it said - it said it won't be necessary for the education system

That's your pshat :)

The way I'm reading it - and I hope I am wrong - is that the passport will not be used (which I read as 'will not help out with') across the education system.

I hope I am wrong.

And yet I can't picture going around Thailand next month with my kids, and on my way back to EY, sending send to school the next day. But why not

March seger was real
Yom Kippur/Succos seger was 70%
Xmas seger was 10%
My perception is this seger will be somewhere between Yom Kippur and March.
In RBS, the local chadarim are closing (they didn't close after succos)

R' Chaim Kanievsky said the Talmud Torah's should be closed for a few days.

Hard to know if he actually said that and also no mention about Yeshivos/Kollelim.

How many doses are arriving on Sunday? If it’s enough for 2 doses for every Israeli over 16, does he mean they expect to administer the second dose to everyone by the end of March?

If this means they’ll have ample supply, is there anything they can do to speed up distribution/vaccination?

They haven't disclosed the number of doses IINM. One of the minister said earlier that there is a confidentiality agreement with pfizer.

Bibi said that if everything goes well everyone will be vaccinated by Pessah, implying after 2nd dose

They can definitely increase the pace if necessary. More hospitals can take part, they can roll out more vaccination centers etc
