IMHO location is not the issue. You have vaccination centers all around the country

But if you have it at LLBG then people can get it upon arrival and prior to going into isolation/quarantine, and then possibly the second dose upon departure, so that future travel to Israel would be quarantine free - giving a boost to the economy.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

You're talking about vaccinating Israeli travelers, on their way back from abroad?

Did you get the results in batches? The negatives separate from the positives? I know of some families with the Meuchedet false negatives that received the negative results very quickly, and the positives took more time.
If you have the need for it it's def worth it to test privately. There are Docs who will give you a Teudat Machlim if you have Positive private antibodys
Negatives came same day and positives took until following day. Test were done if I remember correctly on 3 different days for 5 children all together.

He is saying that if Israel agreed to vaccinate all foreigners on the way in. Have them pay for a quarantined hotel for 10 days. Then tour for 11 days and get another vaccine locally or on the way out. great for the economy

8174 New Cases
1132 severe cases +19
317 intubated +9
4179 total deaths +37

This is with a full lockdown in place. Pretty much no improvement at all.

Is there a full lockdown in place?
I'm under the impression that in some cities / neighborhoods, it's business as usual

Just following your posts - cases have been going down. Deaths and progression to serious illness are both lagging indicators (phrase of the year?) so can't draw conclusions from there.

Also didn't you say that the lockdown is being practically ignored?
There is no practical lockdown going on, as you can see from the above schools/yeshivos/shuls are all open. Based on what is seen by breakdown of cities, charedi areas are the hardest hit, 1+1=2.

I guess lockdowns are being broken down by cities. Certain less religious cities are mostly following the rules. Those who arent have their cases on a steady rise.

And those in less religious cities have to be under lockdown (i.e. school closed) while in more religious cities some / many schools are open  >:(

The Rabanim have been calling for people to keep the lockdowns.

Would want to see a chart of daily/cumulative vaccinations compared to deaths for each age bracket. It probably doesn’t show much yet, but within a few months should g-d willing see a massive decline for seniors.

Israel to mull scrapping age limit to receive virus vaccine

https://www.ynetnews.com/health_science/article/SJHEkqB1u

Are students (with Student Visa) who are members at Mehedet eligible to get vaccines when the age is lowered, or is it only for citizens?
