Everything is possible.
During first wave UA flew daily, often with hardly any passengers on, since cargo was profitable enough on its own. If they confirm foreigners can leave that will be enough business for UA and Delta imho
y wouldnt they be able to profit from cargo still what has changed?

Doubt it will actually happen. Most likely a very watered down version of it will be passed. Same story every couple of months, they will make non-Israelis with student visa,  who live here with 10 kids stranded abroad then Chaim V'Chessed will come to the rescue....
Then single students will be not allowed, then allowed (maybe not allowed again, if there is enough time before Bibi restarts the cycle again ::))
Is anyone getting a bit tired of all this nonsense?

 ;D True!
That's my question I've gotten diffrent answers from different people. What is the exact policy for people on student visas coming back to Israel( yes, Chaim V'cheshed was contacted no exact full answer from them) are they allowed to leave for 10, 30 days, will Israel just issue entry permits to some while others they won't?

Currently single students are not allowed any entry and married students are allowed back in if they have Ishur and haven't been out of the country for more then 30 days (Inferring from here that they are not issuing new student visas but I could be wrong especially as none of the rules seem to make sense)

From the PM office:

PM Netanyahu Holds Discussions on BGI Airport
(Communicated by the Prime Minister's Media Adviser)

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, over the weekend, held discussions on the issue of Ben-Gurion International Airport and will submit a proposal to the Cabinet tomorrow on halting flights to and from Israel for two weeks in order to prevent the entry into Israel of additional coronavirus mutations.

It was agreed in principle, subject to Cabinet approval:

* A ban on incoming and outgoing foreign and Israeli passenger flights

* A reduction in arrival permits to Ben-Gurion International Airport, which would only be allowed in exceptional circumstances that would be approved by a committee headed by the Health and Transportation Ministry director generals

* Formulating a separate outline for humanitarian cases requiring special flights

* The restrictions will apply to passenger flights for 14 days and will take effect upon approval by the Cabinet
Is it different this time from all the past times he's said this?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

It appears to be actionable and up for a vote tomorrow. To me it appears the main legal difference will be a restriction on Israelis leaving Israel for non-essential reasons (foreigners 'returning home' is by definition essential), there's also a small possibility they'll mandate electronic quarantine tracking as an alternative

Don't you know all Israeli policy centers around @ExGingi's needs

ניבא ולא ידע מה ניבא

I've finally resigned myself to either go into 10 day quarantine and work remotely, followed by a brief actual visit, or use an alternative method to avoid quarantine, so they decide to shut down the airport and send EVERYONE to 14 day quarantine.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

I don't know why there isn't an outcry from all the Rabbonim against Mendele Hager anyways. If you see some of the stuff they teach in his chadarim, it is literally Avoida Zara. And I'm not exaggerating one bit. Can upload notes they sent home from school. Really retarded.

The main Israeli litvish charedi newspaper Yated did not publish anything about the Police raid Thursday night, as R Gershon Edelstein told them they cannot publish one side of the story without the other side of the chassidim who provoked it.

So basically you're saying that no one wants to confront him?

Yeah. I don’t know if confronting would help, condemning Berland doesn’t seem to have accomplished all that much.

The Israeli government zoom meeting convened. They are definitely serious about serious restrictions and it sounds to me like actually stopping most of the planes from flying for a week, but there is no way to know what it will look like by the time it gets out of the Kennset committee

Police defended this cop. They're just laying the groundwork to defend when a cop r"l kills a charedi. It's a matter of time. Police come looking for provoke. They don't need to be there. Let bachurim scream at the street.
