Indoor seating will be available only to those with green passports.Shuls can operate at up to 50% capacity for green passport holders, with gatherings of up to 500 people.
And they still won't let full flights with foreign nationals leave!!!!!
They don't? My BIL just came home on Friday.
Anyone in will be allowed back in when enough pressure is put on the government. Israel don't want new strains.
The bottom line is that between vaccines and elections, covid restrictions are pretty much over in Israel.
Details of the vaccinated in the city by age:Ages 16-29: 1st dose - 64%, 2nd dose - 47%.Ages 30-49: 1st dose - 69%, 2nd dose - 52%.Ages +50: 1st dose 97%, 2nd dose - 86%.
Is this your opinion re border restrictions as well?
The government is working under the premise that variants from abroad are a major risk to vaccination effectiveness. I think they'll drop it soon.
I think we need the talented folks at DDF to run for office.
