I guess the only remaining issue is vaccine adoption, and over time that'll gradually resolve itself. And mutations, but you don't seem concerned about that.
I don’t believe there are credible indications of likely vaccine evading evolution. The bigger question to me is vaccine wearing off, but I’m optimistic that they will last for head
Amazing. First time I've seen it. In two separate of Israel's covid updates today, they didn't add any covid cases. Just added tests which were all negative. So far 11 cases today and 0.09% positive. Final update in the morning.
On top of the general declining trend, most schools in Israel were closed for the past week, restaurants were closed or empty, and people went out much less. There was some congregating in shelters, but most people have a safe room at home and anyways the contact is usually short.
how do you get a corona test for a kid that wants to go to a hotel? go to the kuppah?
During the war they suspended the requirement for a child to show a negative test at hotels. I’m not sure if it’s back on or not.
More interestingly, is that requirement cancelled altogether after June 1st? My kids have done way too many tests
I don’t think there is any final or formal information on the planned changes, but cancelling the Green Pass means people can enter everywhere regardless of vaccination/covid status. Seemingly, the driving force is to counter the opposition who reinstated Netanyahu’s archenemy Shahsa-Bitton as the head of the parliamentary Covid committee and render her position meaningless.

Israel had 14 cases yesterday with 29k tests. Under 0.05% positive.Week before was 55 cases.
Great news, but if there are only 14 new cases in the entire country, why are 29k people being tested each day? Are they all traveling internationally, or in jobs that have mandatory testing?
Semi final update for the day. 7 cases and 0.03% positive on 21k tests.
