I kind of understand at risk people masking indoors for anxiety reasons. But statistically it makes 0 sense. Have you seen anyone at risk from touching peanuts not walk into a supermarket?

No, but people with an airborne allergy to peanuts do avoid stores that carry open bins of peanuts. 

I am sure that there are still a number of people at any given time with undiagnosed, asymptomatic Covid.  They are likely not a risk to most people, vaccinated or not, but people who are high risk and unable to vaccinate still need to be careful.

Don't get me wrong - I do not advocate everyone wearing masks forever, but in places where the law still requires us to wear masks, I try to comply.

So if there was a mask mandate for outdoors with this level of spread you would try to comply? I also would, to avoid fines. But it would be draconian and stupid.

True, it would be.  Indoors and in crowded conditions, however, even with the current level of spread, masks for those at risk - and those around them who may very well have been exposed - is not completely unreasonable.

There has been at least one outbreak in a retirement home where everyone had been vaccinated, proving that covid is not yet completely over.

Israel's Health Ministry is currently weighing whether to reinstate the nationwide mask mandate in closed spaces, only days after it was lifted, following a worrying rise in cases, including some cases of the delta variant of coronavirus, which is considered more infectious and severe than other variants of the virus.

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett met with Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz for a situation assessment to discuss the spread of the disease within Israel on Sunday evening.
