Does anyone really believe that this is anything more than virtue signaling? Was this hurting anyone before? Will changing it help anyone now?

They plainly admit that most of these words have no racial history or connotation whatsoever (e.g. Master Bedroom or Blacklist).

Then why sew seeds of hate? Real estate agents, computer programmers and golf fans who are resistant to changing the way they speak (for no good reason) will be branded as racists. Is this good for our country? Or are CNN and Twitter and other virtue signaling mega corps actively destroying the fabric of society and making it impossible to have a cohesive citizenry?

Hone in on demonstrable racial inequities and you will find broad support. Make every stupid thing a race issue and you are part of the problem.
