Slavery was also an event that happened just the same as the Holocaust.

Wrong. “The Holocaust” refers to a specific event, while “genocide” refers to a concept that has repeatedly occurred throughout history. “Slavery” refers to a concept that has repeatedly occurred throughout history, not a specific event. Perhaps “American Slavery” can be used in a similar fashion.

The words “death, shot, gassed, burned, cremated, murdered, genocide, brutality, beating, mass grave” etc. are not anti-Semitic or specifically referring to the Holocaust.

If you don't understand why a black growing up and living in our great country would be offended by the term Master/slave nothing I can say will help you.

African Americans living in the US today and, for example, European Christians have something in common:  Some of their ancestors may have been slaves.  Despite that similarity, I don't hear European Christians getting offended by the "slave/master" terminology. Or by golf's "the Masters." Or by a "Master bedroom." Why is it uniquely triggering to African Americans living today -- none of whom have been slaves -- such that they want it uprooted from the lexicon?

Who said we are talking about to blacks in America? We are talking about people in general. To Orthodox Jews, slavery means our slavery in Egypt.

Do I need to repeat this again? The Holocaust is referring to a specific event. Slavery is referring to a concept. So to use the proper analogy, no *genocide* does not always refer to Jews, nor would it offend most Jews to use it for other things.

Speak for yourself. I repeat a paragraph twice a day remembering our exodus from hundreds of years of slavery. Yes, if all you know about history is the enslavement of Black people in America you’re certain to think “slave” terminology is racist. But that’s not an indictment of English, it’s an indictment of your knowledge of history.
