I don't think verbal assault is a crime unless it's a threat of physical harm. Harassment can be a crime. The definition and constitutionality of what constitutes harassment can be nebulous.

This is the country where every single person has at some point in their lives done things (not like it really matters - they can put you away for nothing too) that a creative prosector can charge as 10 different crimes, and nobody knows all of the myriad laws and ordinances and legal codes. We are the world's incarceration capital.

She basically said that I spent a fortune on my house, and I don't want you or your type coming from your areas to play in our playgrounds and infest our environment. I find your type disgusting, and all you do is endlessly breed like insects. It's bad enough what you've done to your own communities - don't destroy our property values by doing the same to our neighborhoods where we invested a lot of money to get a pleasant and serene environment.

She didn't have any actual rights to the area or to be telling the children to leave. There was zero basis for her to do that (it was a public playground). I don't hear her threatening any harm. There were certainly racist/hateful components to her telling them to leave, which she was pretty open about. Is there any legal issue with what she did?

She actually sounded fairly calm on the video, in my opinion. (I've gotten yelled at worse for asking a store owner for a discount or for not tailgating the vehicle in front of me at a red light.) Upset, but not to the degree that I would think that anyone should fear for their physical well-being. Not quite what I'd generally call an enraged diatribe. She sounds like accused them of damaging park property and being a general nuisance. Hateful, but I didn't hear threatening.
