Looks like we are talking about to different things. When I say corrupt, I think it would be better if I said without sin. No human is perfect or even close to it.

Our job is to strive for it. This may also have to do with our religion's different view of sin. Judaism doesn't view all earthly pleasures as sinful. As I understand, Christianity does to an extent.

Just an excerpt from the news. Don't you think taking a very classic author and changing some words for modern sensibilities is going just a bit too far? Even if you do disgagree with what people believed in the past, can't people read books while understanding historical context? I mean, changing cloud-men to cloud-people? Really?

It is possible to not be without sin yet be connected to the Godly enough to be above censure from people like us.
Our sages do say, "He who is greater than his fellow, [so] is his [Evil] inclination greater than his fellow." But the tests that he faces tend to be so subtle that only God can judge the results. So far as the way we treat him, he is indeed perfect.
You can believe otherwise if you like. I am simply expressing the way that I (we) believe, so that you understand my (our) perspective.

This was really what I was trying to say, in less words. Excerpt from no less than the NYT article on the subject.

- Not a Purim joke: New Jersey state senator has proposed a bill that would ban the sale of non-flushable baby wipes throughout the state -- and would punish anyone who violates the ban with a fine of as much as $20,000. Earlier this week, Democratic lawmaker Joseph Cryan, introduced the bill, which notes that non-flushable baby wipes can mistakenly get flushed down a toilet leading to problems for municipal septic systems. If the bill is approved, anyone who sells non-flushable baby wipes in New Jersey could face a $10,000 on first offense and a $20,000 fine on any subsequent offenses.

I am pro this bill. There are hundreds of thousands of dollars being wasted on sewer backups every month.

Garbage bin has enough space for that diaper change.
