No one here said he should be fired or didn't have a right to say what he said. He should not stick his nose where it doesn't belong. They were deescalating a situation and all he did was make it worse. A simple concept you seem not to grasp.

I am not moving the goalposts. He stuck his nose where it doesn't belong. That has nothing to do with the law or more accurate the review they did.

So many of these situations get blown up because of someone wants to stick their nose where it doesn't belong. Recent events show this can have tragic consequences.

Depends how you define "underrepresented."  If she was saying that the characters will reflect their percentage in the audience population that's one thing (though I don't think that children's entertainment should be bringing up sex or sexuality at all)

If she's saying that a group that is perhaps ~5% of the population will be 50% of the characters, that's crazy talk.

Would you expect to see 50% of movies forced to feature recognizable Jews as main characters because they are under 2% of the population? Why not just let everything fall in it's natural place? Why the contrived policies forcing them out and center? If it makes sense to feature a minority in the plot line or if it happens to be a minority, great, but I don't see how equality means that they should now be overrepresented.
