20$ to spend on Amazon. What should I get?

I’m having a major dilemma what to buy with a 20$ gc I got from signing up to some investing website.
There’s 2 ways I can spend this money:
1: on essentials items I would anyway need to buy so I save on that category
2: view it as a freebie and take the opportunity to buy something I otherwise wouldn’t buy

Assuming I’m going for option 2 , what are some interesting gadgets, books, appliances etc. out there you would recommend for 20$(or close to it)?

I'm confused, why can't you just add it to your Amazon account balance and use it when you place an order next?

Save it for something substantial that you would be getting anyways, but you will now spend more for quality. Eg earphones etc. Instead of settling on your typical budget, spend a little more for something that will last longer or function better.

$20 isn't much to get a standalone item that you probably wouldn't have gotten without the freeby. Better splurge on something that your spending on anyways, and treat yourself to a slightly better product.

But i view this like a tax return, a monetary gift or a stimulus. You didn't work for it still does not mean it has to be splurged. use it for something useful just like earned income
