Better or worse for us ?

Horrible for seeing, skimming and comparing what’s on sale. Up to i7? You used to see what was actually listed for 279 in this case

They copied ASUS, it looks like. There also, you see the theoretical specs on the main page and then you click through and discover: Ryzen 5 and 6GB RAM.

Best plastic option: https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-laptops/inspiron-15-laptop/spd/inspiron-15-3525-laptop/nn3525ghhvs?ref=variantstack
$400, Ryzen 7 5700U, 16GB RAM, TB SSD.

Best metal option: 14" for $650 https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-laptops/inspiron-14-laptop/spd/inspiron-14-5430-laptop/usichbts5430ggjs?ref=variantstack
15.6" for $700: https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-laptops/vostro-16-laptop/spd/vostro-16-5630-laptop/usevcpbts5630fwsw?ref=variantstack

Wow, Dell's website is suddenly really unhelpful.

Dell is continually canceling my orders for a laptop. Anyone have any clue why they’re doing it and what triggers it so that I can avoid it?

I spoke to Dell and they explained that because I made multiple purchases I was flagged as a reseller. I tried explaining that I have some Amex cards but nothing doing. I spoke to a supervisor that said there’s no way to resolve it. Does anyone here know of any tactic?
Thanks.

Open a business account and select business purchase.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Open a business account and select business purchase.
Doesnt make a difference IME.

Dell or Amex eventually is going to be hit with a class action suit because of all the cancellations stemming from the BP credit

Seems a good price.

Seems a good price.

While I was looking at site , I saw and picked  the 16 inch at 549 cause I used another  40 off $200 also !

Same CPU $999 for $549 seemed reasonable also .
No disrespect
Thanks

If you buy for personal use no fee, but for business use they charge the fee. Just went thru this with them, I dont even remember selecting business use, but they claim I did. I hope amex will cover the restocking fee.
